In the mainline games, Bastiodon is typically found in areas where fossils can be revived, such as Oreburgh Citys Mining Museum in Pokmon Diamond and Pearl

While some lists lean heavy on the dragon theme, shy away, opting instead to fill their monster zones with more conventional threats

Their favorite artist is Tomokazu Komiya, so they picked up an Alolan Vulpix (my go-to Pokmon in Pokmon Unite) illustrated by Komiya, as well as Plusle and Minun because the duo is just too cute

Pull rates are grim, but given that everything being manufactured is being instantly bought, there are a lot of cards out there to be resold for those unfortunate enough not to be able to find sealed cards

The deck runs a very low land count and is mostly creatures, so you tend to chain lots of plays from the top of your library

However, being able to essentially block damage altogether, from what tend to be the most powerful Pokmon in the game, is a very intriguing twist, and basically elevates the use of single-prize, standard Pokmon cards
