Winning only half of its matches against multiple decks in the format it is exceedingly unfavored against normally would never be a cause for banning again

Matoya, Archon Elder Blue has so many permanents that surveil or scry throughout your turn, like Search for Azcanta, Eyes Everywhere, and Sigiled Starfish, that Matoya, Archon Elder has a ton of card draw potential

Not to mention, it's a blast to try and take downor bethe archenemy

But it's at least worth considering that you could be buying proxies if you are using the cards in a casual environment (READ: NOT A TOURNAMENT), are not trying to pass them off as real, and your friends are OK with it
