Wizards of the Coast senior narrative designer and TMNT narrative design lead Crystal Frasier began the preview explaining her role in designing this set, stating, "We're incredibly lucky with TMNT that a lot of our artists were already huge fans of the property, so a lot of them went above and beyond." As Magic: The Gathering fans already know, every card has just a hint of storytelling happening, even outside of the sometimes-included flavor text, and that hasn't changed with this set
I hope you enjoyed my look see at WOE, what would be your Top Ten?
The short answer: yes
At first glance, this doesnt seem like a very efficient use of your land cards, but when you consider lands with enter-the-battlefield effects, as well as the ample land recursion options available , things get a lot more interesting
This makes them a seriously worryingly threat as suddenly removal becomes a whole lot less effective
This variant also benefits from getting a bit of aggro power back, running Judith and Heraldic Banner as pump effects which then get even more value out of Obosh
