Retreat Cost: Theres numerous reasons why youd want to move your Pokmon from the Active Spot to your Bench, and the retreat cost shows how many Energy cards, and which type, you need to discard from the Pokmon in order to do this
So if you need just one more card in your deck and put Ekans into it, try to get Ekans into the active Pokemon spot early, use Bite when you can, then retreat Ekans when you have another Pokemon setup or Ekans is about to feint
Its silly, right
Unlike the last expansion with its Rare Candy, there isnt an obvious standout here, but there are a lot of comfort cards, and a few drop-in replacements that wont massively transform a deck, but will make it just a little bit better
So thanks for reading today's review of Tyranitar from the Stormfront set, stay tuned for tomorrow's review of Vespiquen from the same set
