Me too, that's totally understandable
Mike and I both pitched these ideas for Invasion , but Bill thought they worked better as twists on kicker that showed up later in the block
When you pay this cost one or more times, put that many +1/+1 counters on this creature, then exile up to that many target instant and/or sorcery cards with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard and copy them
These sorts of two-for-ones are the lifeblood of a Limited control deck, and Phyrexian Ingester is likely to end many games it is cast
You can use this to fix your mana colors when you didn't draw it, or destroy nasty lands like Maze of Ith, Volrath's Stronghold, Academy Ruins, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and many more and give them a land to keep them happy
In a poison-styled deck, all you really have to do is get at least one poison counter on an opponent and sit back and watch as their counters slowly tick up at the end of your turn
