It's arguably one of the best cards for Type Four from the set (Rules are - infinite mana but just one spell per turn so counters are good there since they cannot be overwhelmed by casting more spells than you have mana, and a five cost counter is first turn able there)
What about in Modern
While on the field, each of them continuously negates a specific type of card's effect that the opponent resolves in the same column as a friendly "Mekk-Knight" monster: "Key" negates Traps, "Secret" negates monsters, and "Whispers" negates Spells
It literally takes every permanent off the board and makes every player choose 7 of them as a starting hand of sorts, while shuffling away everything else
