The return to Phyrexia was highly anticipated and ONE did not disappoint - The storyline is engaging, many of the cards are exciting and powerful, and the toxic commander precon is a big hit
Where it gets interesting is the games that create a middle level of interest (multiple plays)
Iron Verdict is a nice bit of removal, dealing five damage to a target tapped creature for just one mana, filling a similar niche to the likes of Swift Response from older sets
The history of kindred cards kind of came full circle with the most recent set to use the kindred card type, Modern Horizons 3 Commander, where the card Tarmogoyf Nest can be found in one of the preconstructed decks
It also triggers ETB abilities, which can lead to some powerful interactions
I do also expect Golemon to be the mon of the hour here, which I'm sort of hoping against since Tortamon feels like it could use the love a bit more
