The real power comes from the Lecture Hall, a three-mana Room that rewards you for dealing damage to your opponent by putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature when they deal combat damage to a player

The point of this rule is to allow long duels to come to an end definitively and in a fair manner

On turn one, it's a regular old colourless land that you can play for free, but on turn two it can create a Construct that gets stronger for every artifact you own

For the classic GP/PT stamps this is not so bad as they are small and unobstructive, however for the modern European GP stamps that is a different matter as they disfigure the artwork

It not only protects your deck's leader with ward, it also attaches equipment for free and produces white mana to help pay for pricier artifacts

Just be aware of the turn they are able to cast Be Prepared so you don't over commit too many characters into the board wipe
