While Modern and Legacy players are theoretically so invested in the game that they won't quit based on a banning (especially when the banning improves the format), if someone buys their first Standard deck and it's suddenly banned, it's very possible that these players will give up on the game altogether
One notable exception is Pikachu who is part of the set likely just because its Pikachu
With Basilisk Collar, an artifact equipment, Ragost gains deathtouch and lifelink, meaning that its ability to sacrifice a Food to deal 3 damage to all opponents actually gains you 9 life in the process (assuming all three other Commander players are still at the table)
[7] For example, if a player opens Exhume, its an obvious sign that theres a draftable black deck in the reanimator archetype
It was a gruesome museum piece, maligned as an arch-example of archaic, confusing design
This is my kind of card and exactly what I want to be doing in a game of Magic: playing small creatures that help you hit your land drop
