श्रीमद भगवद गीता एक धार्मिक और दार्शनिक ग्रंथ है जिसमें जीवन के गहन और गूढ़ रहस्यों का वर्णन है। यहाँ गीता के 11 प्रेरक कथन प्रस्तुत हैं जो जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर मार्गदर्शन देते हैं:
- कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
- अर्थ: तुम्हारा अधिकार केवल कर्म करने में है, फलों में नहीं।

- योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनञ्जय।
- अर्थ: हे धनंजय, समता में स्थित होकर कर्म करो और आसक्ति का त्याग करो।
- न हि कश्चित्क्षणमपि जातु तिष्ठत्यकर्मकृत्।
- अर्थ: कोई भी व्यक्ति क्षण भर भी बिना कर्म किए नहीं रह सकता।
- सुखदुःखे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ।
- अर्थ: सुख-दुःख, लाभ-हानि और जय-पराजय में समत्व बुद्धि रखो।
- उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।
- अर्थ: आत्मा द्वारा स्वयं का उद्धार करो, स्वयं को अधोगति में न डालो।
- ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गस्तेषूपजायते।
- अर्थ: विषयों का चिंतन करने वाले मनुष्य की उनमें आसक्ति उत्पन्न होती है।
- स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयः परधर्मो भयावहः।
- अर्थ: स्वधर्म में मरना भी श्रेष्ठ है, परधर्म भयावह है।
- वासनांत्यज्य शुद्धात्मा विमुक्तो मामुपैष्यसि।
- अर्थ: वासनाओं का त्याग कर शुद्ध आत्मा वाला व्यक्ति मुझमें लीन हो जाता है।
- मृत्युः सर्वहरश्चाहमुद्भवश्च भविष्यताम्।
- अर्थ: मैं सबको हरने वाला मृत्यु हूँ और भविष्य में उत्पन्न होने वाला भी मैं ही हूँ।
- यतो यतो निश्चरति मनश्चञ्चलमस्थिरम्।
- अर्थ: जहाँ-जहाँ से यह चंचल और अस्थिर मन विचलित होता है।
- समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः।
- अर्थ: मैं सब प्राणियों में समभाव से स्थित हूँ, न कोई मुझे अप्रिय है, न प्रिय।
श्रीमद भगवद गीता के ये कथन हमें जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर विचार करने और उचित मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त करने में सहायता करते हैं।
