Early Life and Education
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Glyman pursued higher education at Harvard University, earning an A.B. in Economics and East Asian Studies between 2008 and 2012. During his time at Harvard, he attended the Harvard Beijing Academy in 2009, obtaining a citation in Mandarin Chinese. In 2011, he furthered his studies as a Visiting Scholar at Peking University, focusing on Finance, Accounting, Health Economics, and Anthropology.
Career
Glyman’s professional journey began as a Financial Analyst at Millstein & Co. from July 2012 to September 2014. In January 2014, he co-founded Paribus, a price-tracking application designed to help consumers save money on online purchases by securing refunds when prices dropped. The success of Paribus led to its acquisition by Capital One in 2016, where Glyman continued as Senior Director until February 2019, leading the savings automation team. In March 2019, Glyman co-founded Ramp alongside Karim Atiyeh and Gene Lee. Under his leadership, Ramp has become one of the fastest-growing corporate card and bill payment software companies in the United States, offering integrated expense management, reimbursements, and accounting automation. The platform has helped customers reduce expenses by an average of 3.5% annually and accelerate their financial closing processes. As of 2023, Ramp has secured over $1 billion in financing and was valued at $8.1 billion.
